After 26 years since the passing of the late rapper Tupac Shakur, he will be commemorated with a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame.

On June 7th, a ceremony honoring the late hip-hop legend Tupac Shakur will take place on the prestigious Los Angeles Walk of Fame.
This information has been confirmed to the LA Times by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
Tupac Shakur, who was raised in New York, had a profound influence on the hip-hop movement, particularly the West Coast rap scene.
The 2,758th star to be added to the Walk of Fame will be his. Sekyiwa “Set” Shakur, Tupac’s sister, will collect the honor on his behalf during the ceremonial opening ceremony.
The upcoming ceremony honoring Tupac Shakur on the Los Angeles Walk of Fame will be led by radio presenter Big Boy.
The event will feature director Allen Hughes and writer Jamal Joseph as guest speakers, adding their voices to commemorate the late hip-hop artist.
Tupac, known by his stage name 2Pac, achieved great success in his career. He released his debut album in 1991 and went on to create chart-topping hits such as “California Love,” “All Eyez on Me,” “Changes,” and “I Ain’t Mad at Cha.”
Tragically, Tupac Shakur passed away on September 13, 1996, at the age of 25, after being shot four times in Las Vegas.
Despite his untimely demise, his impact continued to resonate.
In 2004, his posthumous single “Ghetto Gospel,” featuring a sample from Elton John’s “Indian Sunset,” reached the number one position on the UK singles chart, demonstrating his enduring popularity.
