Gunmen captures native doctor in Anambra. Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki, a native doctor from Anambra, has been kidnapped by gunmen in the state’s Idemili North Local Government Area.
According to reports, the armed men assaulted the well-known witch doctor’s hotel in the Oba neighborhood on Sunday night.
His two bodyguards were killed by gunfire before he was taken to an unidentified location.
It was gathered that the operation that led to Tiwaraki’s abduction was carried out with ease, thereby raising concerns in the community about his status as a native doctor.
Tiwaraki was rumored to have attracted people looking for anti-bullet charms and money rituals to his estate in the neighborhood as well as boasting about how wealthy and powerful he was.
The event was confirmed by the state police public relations officer, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, who stated that it took place about 11:30 p.m.
He said, “CP Aderemi Adeoye has ordered that operatives track down his kidnappers and secure his release.
