FG approves new management team for Customs. The selection of a new management team for the Nigeria Customs Service has been authorized by President Bola Tinubu.
This comes just weeks after the FG nominated Adewale Adeniyi as interim Comptroller General of Customs and retired part of the service’s managers.
The appointees include three deputy comptroller generals and three assistant comptroller generals, according to a statement issued by the service’s National Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Maiwada.
In the statement, Adeniyi commended the newly appointed officers while appreciating the retired members of the management for their distinguished service.
He urged them with stepping up their efforts to guarantee that the service achieves greater heights in its mandates of revenue generation, smuggling control, and trade facilitation.
The appointed officers include, “DCG FO Okun, DCG MBA Musa, DCG A Hamisu, ACG K Olumoh, ACG AB Mohammed, ACG A Alajogun,”

The Federal Road Safety Corps and the Nigeria Customs Service began an intense vehicle database integration on Thursday in order to boost revenue production for the Federal Government.
In a joint statement issued in Abuja, the agencies lauded the move as “one of the most productive collaborations towards enhancing national security and curbing revenue loss.”
The statement was signed by the Assistant Corps Marshal, Corps Public Education Officer, FRSC, Bisi Kazeem, and the Chief Superintendent of Customs, National Public Relations Officer, NCS, Abdullahi Maiwada.
It stated that the collaboration was effected during the official visit of the acting Comptroller-General, NCS, Adewale Adeniyi, to the Corps Marshal, FRSC, Dauda Biu, at the national headquarters of the commission on Thursday.
