Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, a highly talented Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter, better known by his professional name, MohBad is dead.

It has been reported that the former signee of Marlian Records tragically passed away on Tuesday, at the tender age of 27.

On Tuesday, Olamide, the YBNL Music Executive and talented singer, took to his X handle to officially confirm the unfortunate demise of Mohbad.

Accompanied by a poignant emoji, he shared a post with a caption that read, “Oh, Mohbad, what a devastating blow!”💔

Mohbad, a talented Nigerian artist, had the privilege of being associated with the esteemed “Marlian Records,” a record label founded by the renowned Naira Marley. However, in the year 2022, Mohbad made the decision to part ways with the label, embarking on a new chapter in his musical journey.

His repertoire boasts a collection of chart-topping singles, among which Ponmo, Feel Good, and KPK (Ko Por Ke) with Rexxie stand out as shining examples. Notably, the latter track has garnered significant recognition, securing three nominations for the prestigious Headies awards in 2022.
