Yoruba group recruits lawyers, offering free legal services. On Monday, the Yoruba Council Worldwide announced the formation of a team of legal experts who will offer pro bono legal assistance to support the family of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
Their goal is to ensure that all actions taken in relation to the matter strictly adhere to the rule of law and established norms. Oladotun Hassan, the President of the council, disclosed this development during a press conference held in Abuja on Monday.
Celebrity Telegraph.com reports The circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death, which occurred on Tuesday, September 12 at the age of 27, remain unclear and have sparked controversy.
Additionally, in response to an order from the Inspector-General of Police, Olukayode, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, initiated an investigative panel to examine the circumstances surrounding the late singer’s demise.
Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Command disclosed that an autopsy was carried out on Mohbad’s body after it was exhumed on Thursday and that they await the results of the autopsy performed by pathologists.
