Naira Marley arrives Lagos, Assist Police investigation.
Singer Afeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, has returned to Lagos to assist the police in the ongoing investigation into the death of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba, (MohBad).
Naira Marley shared this information via a tweet on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, mentioning that he intends to meet with the police as well. He said, “I want to inform you that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria, to cooperate with the authorities in their ongoing investigation. It’s crucial for me to play my part for Imole.”
“I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.”
Recall that In a statement last Tuesday, the Marlian record owner Afeez Fashola aka Naira Marley vowed to clear his name and prove innocence of his involvement in the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba, (MohBad).
He added that he was ready to assist the police investigation surrounding the MohBad’s death.
Celebritytelegraph.com reports that Mohbad died on September 12 at the age of 27 in Lagos State. He was buried immediately on September 13. However, following an investigation ordered by the Inspector General Police, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, initiated an investigative panel to examine the circumstances surrounding the late singer’s demise. Hence, Mohbad’s remains were exhumed for an autopsy.
