FPRO says to use technology to monitor Nigerians. The Nigerian Police agency’s Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has stated that the agency has begun steps to improve its operations through the use of technology.
He also stated that the force is utilizing all available resources to train its officers in accordance with worldwide best practices.
Adejobi revealed this in a Saturday post on his X account.
“We will use technology to police Nigeria,” he wrote. We are harnessing all available means to acquire assets and train our personnel in line with the international best practices.
“The introduction of apps such as CMR, Police VGS, and others will go a long way toward reducing crime and criminality, particularly vehicle-related crimes.”
“We urge Nigerians to support us and campaign against illegalities and vices.”
