Rema prioritizes health, cancels all shows in december. Divine Ikubor as Rema, the Afrobeats sensation, has canceled all December commitments to focus on his health.
On Wednesday, the Calm Down singer revealed this via his Instagram story.
The celeb stated that he had neglected his health over his years of touring and that it was time to rest.
“It breaks my heart to say that I will not be performing anywhere this December,” he said flatly. After years of touring, I’ve neglected my health and need time to recover. We’ll meet again in 2024, love.”
This comes shortly after Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki unveiled plans to host the Edo-born musical prodigy, The celeb, in a grand Homecoming Music Concert on December 21.
Obaseki expressed his excitement to bring The back to his roots while speaking to youths at the Sir Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub, Benin City, the state capital on Wednesday, according to a statement by the state government.
The statement quoted Obaseki as saying, “By the grace of God, this Christmas, we will bring Rema home. The celeb will have a Homecoming Concert.”
