Zamfara promises terror victim attacks gifts. Following the recent terrorist attacks in Zurmi Local Government Area and adjacent towns, the Zamfara State Government has extended aid and emergency relief items to those impacted in their respective localities.
The administration also thanked the military and other security agencies for their tireless efforts to keep the situation under control.
In a statement made available to journalists on Wednesday, Governor Dauda Lawal’s spokesperson, Sulaiman Idris, expressed the government’s commitment to provide aid and emergency relief items to persons and communities harmed by the attacks.
Idris assured the people of Zamfara of the government’s commitment to their protection.
“The state government will extend assistance and emergency relief materials to the affected people,” the statement said.
“We want to reassure the people of Zamfara that we are completely committed to their safety.” We are aware of the sacrifices made by the security personnel in order to preserve the lives of the people.”The state government will equip them with all of the supplies and support they need to combat banditry. We will not stop till Zamfara is fully secure.”
The governor conveyed his condolences to the people affected by the bandit attacks and praised the army for their valiant efforts.
“The Zamfara State government is deeply concerned about the recent attacks in communities across the state, particularly in Zurmi, Maru, and Tsafe Local Government Areas,” the statement stated.
“Governor Lawal further commended the efforts of the security forces for neutralizing scores of leaders of the bandit groups across the state.”
He noted that favorable reports emphasized the progress made by troops in the fight against banditry in the state, recognizing the security forces’ sacrifices and efforts.
The governor asked for ongoing prayers and support for the security forces working to restore peace and security in the state.
