37 senior officers promoted in the Air force. The Nigerian Air Force Council has authorized the promotion of 37 senior officers to the next higher grades.

22 senior officers were promoted to the rank of Air Vice Marshal, while 15 were promoted to the level of Air Commodore.

According to a statement issued on Friday by the Nigerian Air Force’s Deputy Director of Public Relations and Information, Group Captain Kabiru Ali, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, reminded the promoted officers of the importance of deep thinking.

He also charged them with doing a critical assessment of the current security environment and developing practical solutions to address the insecurity issues.

The Director of Public Relations and Information, Headquarters NAF (HQ NAF), Edward Gabkwet, Abubakar Sule, Olayinka Oyesola, Abubakar Bukar, Razaq Olanrewaju, Olanrewaju Oyename, Ahmed Idris, and Abdulrasheed Kotun are among those promoted to the rank of Air Vice Marshal, according to Ali.

Chidiebere Obiabaka, Gambo Mbaka, Felix Uwakara, John Ukeh, Emeka Ashiegbu, Zayyan Usman, Mohammed Ibrahim, Babatunde Ajayi, David Dickson, Muhammed Sulaiman, Rasaq Shittu, Friday Ogohi, Henry Yurkusi, and Suleiman Usman are some of the others.

Valentine Oraeki, Dogari Apyeyak, Ali Idris, Mohammed Ahmed, Shehu Chindo, Abubakar Mohammed, Logomfa Nansoh, Abraham Sule, Idris Suleiman, Oluwaseun Oluwatayo, Ibrahim Shehu, Yahaya Bashir, Adolphus Akins, Rilwanu Abdullahi, Babangida Zakari, and David Bigila are among those promoted.
