Lagos State Governor rewards London-Lagos Solo traveler with generous gifts
In a remarkable gesture of appreciation, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, bestowed generous rewards upon travel content creator, Pelumi Nubi, who embarked on a solo journey from London to Lagos by road. Upon her arrival in Lagos from London, Pelumi Nubi was warmly received at the Government House by Governor Sanwo-Olu. Expressing her gratitude on social media, Pelumi announced the extraordinary gifts she received, including a new car, a house in Lagos, and a customized plate number. This remarkable recognition also designated her as a Lagos State ambassador, amplifying her impact and influence. Accompanied by Lagos State Commissioner of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka, and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Idris Aregbe, Pelumi’s journey was met with official acknowledgment and celebration at the Nigerian-Benin Republic border. This extraordinary act of recognition not only honors Pelumi’s adventurous spirit but also highlights Lagos State’s commitment to promoting tourism and celebrating remarkable achievements.
