So-Safe Corps apprehends trio for robbery spree in Ogun
In a proactive move against crime, the So-Safe Corps in Ogun State has nabbed three individuals suspected of being part of a notorious gang of armed robbers wreaking havoc in the Iroko/Arije area of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area. The apprehended suspects, identified as Abayomi Micheal David (alias Scofield), Sam Oluwatobi, and Oluwatosin Atilola (alias Tosine), were taken into custody following a swift response to a distress call by So Safe officers stationed at the Iroko/Arije Divisional Headquarters. Residents had alerted authorities to the brazen activities of armed robbers targeting them for their phones and valuables. Led by ACC Tajudeen Odunmbaku, the So-Safe team launched an operation resulting in the arrest of three out of the four suspects. The fourth suspect, Obani Desmond (alias Kokolet), remains at large and is believed to be the mastermind behind the criminal activities. Recovered from the apprehended individuals were incriminating items including cartridges, a locally-made pistol, and a motorbike, all of which have been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force for further investigation and prosecution.
