Ganduje dismisses suspension drama as “Africa Magic”
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has brushed off his purported suspension by his ward in Kano State, likening it to a scene from Africa Magic. Speaking while receiving reports on Ondo State’s governorship primary election, Ganduje described the suspension as orchestrated by political opponents to tarnish his image. Last week, party leaders led by the ward’s Legal Adviser announced Ganduje’s suspension, citing allegations of bribery. Despite legal maneuvers, including a court order restraining Ganduje from acting as APC national chairman, he secured another injunction affirming his rights. Ganduje attributed the suspension saga to political rivals, asserting the unity and focus of the APC. In a show of support, state chairmen from across Nigeria reaffirmed their allegiance to Ganduje, commending his leadership and vowing to defend him against external pressures.
