Tinubu’s anniversary to be low-key
President Bola Tinubu’s first anniversary in office will be marked with low-key celebrations, according to Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris. This approach reflects the nation’s current circumstances.
Idris announced this decision on Wednesday during a World Press Conference held to mark the occasion. He was joined by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, and the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Bagudu.
The Minister emphasized that the subdued celebration is a deliberate choice, highlighting the administration’s sensitivity to the challenges facing the nation.
