Three people were killed in Kyiv and Mykolaiv by Russian airstrikes.
According to Ukrainian authorities, Russian missile strikes on Wednesday morning damaged Kyiv and other locations, resulting in at least three fatalities and eleven wounded.
According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, ten people were injured and two individuals died in Kiev.
According to authorities, a man was also slain in the southern city of Mykolaiv. Air alerts were issued for the entire nation, and reports of strikes reached as far west as Lviv, close to the Polish border.
According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, some homes in the city were left without electricity after a downed Russian missile destroyed power cables.
According to Valerii Zaluzhnyi, the head of Ukraine’s military, Russia has fired 64 missiles and drones, 44 of which were intercepted.
Russian cruise missiles were sighted over the western regions of Lviv, Ternopil, and Ivano-Frankivsk, according to the Ukrainian air force.
Oleksandr Senkevich, the mayor of Mykolaiv, reported that one individual who was hospitalised in the city eventually passed away from his wounds.
He said, “After the attack, which damaged homes and interrupted gas and water supplies, others were treated at the scene.”
There were also explosions audible in Kharkiv, and military authorities reported some infrastructure damage.
Air strikes on Ukraine have increased since Russia’s invasion on February 24, 2022. Missiles and drones are just two of the many weaponry that Russian soldiers frequently employ in their assaults.
