Tinubu welcomes Senegalese president
President Bola Tinubu is currently hosting the new president of Senegal, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, at the State House in Abuja. This visit is a courtesy call on President Tinubu by the newest member of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Authority of Heads of State and Government.
President Faye, who was inaugurated on April 2, 2024, arrived at the State House forecourt around 3 pm and was welcomed by a military band.
Following his arrival, the Senegalese President was escorted to President Tinubu’s office for a private session.
