Moments after the event, Dana Air announced its support for world record-breaking cook Hilda Baci, offering her one year of free domestic travel.

Hilda broke the current world record for the longest individual cooking marathon.

This is due to the fact that the airline also gave Baci’s mother three months of free-flying tickets.

You will recall that Celebrity Telegraph reported in the early hours of Tuesday 16th of May 2023 that, the 27-year-old began cooking on Thursday, May 11, 2023, and finished in 100 hours to beat India’s Lata Tondon, who established the record with 87 hours 45 minutes in 2019.

Speaking about Dana Air’s support for Hilda Baci, Ememobong Ettete, Chief Operating Officer, stated that the airline has and will always promote the craft, creativity, efforts, and innovations of young Nigerians who exemplify the true Nigerian spirit as a proudly Nigerian brand.

“We have always blazed the trail in terms of support for the arts and entertainment industry, health care, and culture, and our corporate social responsibility has been all-encompassing,” the airline said in a statement.

“We will fund Hilda’s local travels for a year, and we are inspired by her strength and determination to succeed.”

“We understand her mother is also a chef, and she must have gotten this inspiration from her. As a result, we will provide her mother with three months of free local flights.”

“We are grateful to Hilda’s mother for providing us with an amazing daughter and for being a huge support system to Hilda.” “We thank everyone who came out to support one of our own,” Ememobong said.
