Arise Television has been announced as the as Best TV station at the 2023 Nigeria Broadcasting Awards.
The Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON) has established the Nigeria Broadcasting Awards as a platform to acknowledge, commemorate, and incentivize professional excellence within the nation’s broadcasting sector.
The event held on May 17, 2023. The Nigeria Broadcasting Awards received endorsement from more than 300 BON member-stations, as well as revered broadcasters and other stakeholders in the broadcast industry.
The nominees were reviewed by a 7-member judges’ committee consisting of distinguished industry players and organizations. The committee received about 600 entries after the deadline. The ultimate victors are determined by a combination of the judges’ evaluations and the public’s votes, with a ratio of 60:40.
