Suspended EFCC chair Bawa in DSS net. In a recent development, the Department of State Services (DSS) has extended an invitation to Abdulrasheed Bawa, the erstwhile Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This was contained in a statement signed by Peter Afunanya,
The DSS spokesperson. Mr Afunanya said the Mr Bawa arrived a few hours ago at the SSS Headquarters, Abuja. The invitation relates to some investigative activities concerning him.
Recall that the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu indefinitely suspend the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, AbdulRasheed Bawa, from his position over allegation of corruption against him. He was, however, directed to immediately handover to the Director of Operations in the Commission pending the conclusion of the investigation.
