kwara auto crash two dead. A lone mishap on the Ilorin-Ogbomoso road between Geri Alimi and Ilorin Airport on Monday night claimed the lives of two people.

The Mistubishi commercial Space bus disaster occurred at 7.50 p.m. on Monday, however only two persons were killed – a male adult and a male youngster – and two other male adults were critically injured.

According to reports, the collision was caused by a speeding infraction and a loss of control.

Frederick Ogidan, the state Commandant of the Federal Road Safety Corps, who confirmed the occurrence, advised drivers to always follow speed restrictions.

“A Mitsubishi commercial space bus with registration number SHA 784 XH with four passengers somersaulted around the NARTO area on Ilorin Airport/Eyenkorin express road at 7.50 pm, while the Road Safety Corps arrived within 15 minutes of the occurrence,” the FRSC chairman said.

According to Ogidan, the injured were transferred to Kwara State General Hospital in Ilorin, while the bodies of the two deceased were put in the hospital’s morgue.
