A young man sodomises stepbrother in Ondo
A 24-year-old young man, Pelumi Folorunsho, has been caught and arrested for allegedly sodomnising his eight-year-old stepbrother in Akure, Ondo State.
Upon being apprehended by a vigilant neighbor in the NEPA area of Akure, the accused individual was swiftly brought before the Akure Family Magistrate Court. He faces a one-count charge of indecent assault. The court proceedings were informed by Police prosecutor, Martins Olowofeso, who disclosed that the offense occurred at their residence around 3pm on September 16, 2023.
Olowofeso further asserted that the defendant not only subjected his step-brother to assault but also inflicted harm upon him. In a decisive ruling, Chief Magistrate F.A. Aduroja ordered the defendant’s immediate remand in police custody, pending the forthcoming judgment.
Aduroja issued a directive for the defendant to undertake the task of clearing the vegetation surrounding the police station, a duty slated to last for a duration of two weeks. Subsequently, she adjourned the case to October 5, 2023, in anticipation of the impending judgment.
