Inspector declared wanted for murder – Anambra State police.
Inspector Audu Omadefu has been declared sought for murder by the Anambra State Police Command.
The command’s spokesperson, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, revealed this in a press release on Tuesday.
Ikenga asked anyone in the public who knew where he was to come to the closest police station.
Even while the command did not reveal the specifics of the murder, including the where, when, and how it was carried out, everyone was given the assurance that any information they provided would be handled in the strictest confidence.
The notification said, “AP No. 362178, Inspector Audu Omadefu, is hereby declared wanted for murder by the Anambra State Police Command.”
“The command requests that anybody who witnesses the fugitive or knows where he is headed report to the closest police station.
Alternatively, they can contact the PPRO at 08039334002 or the command’s control room at 07039194332.
“Any information provided in this regard will be kept completely private.”
