Journalist unveils insightful books on Tinubu’s political journey
Author and journalist Taiwo Ogundipe has announced the forthcoming public presentation of two illuminating books shedding light on President Bola Tinubu’s political trajectory.
The books, titled “The Pathfinder: The Life and Politics of an African Politician” and “The Blueprint: How Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Transformed Lagos State,” published by Topseal Communications Limited, are scheduled for release to coincide with President Tinubu’s birthday in March.
Ogundipe, the author, explained that “The Pathfinder” delves into Tinubu’s life story, tracing his early years, educational background, professional journey as an accountant, political endeavors, and his impactful two-term tenure as Lagos State governor.
Additionally, the book highlights Tinubu’s influential role in national politics, particularly his pivotal involvement in the formation of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and his support for the election of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Speaking about “The Blueprint,” Ogundipe described it as a comprehensive account of Tinubu’s financial strategies and the economic groundwork he laid for Lagos State’s sustainable development.
Tinubu, a significant figure in Nigerian politics and a former governor of Lagos State, assumed the presidency on May 29, 2023, following his victory in the presidential election.
Both books aim to provide insight into Tinubu’s leadership style, his contributions to nation-building, and his enduring impact on Nigerian politics.
