NGF applauds Oyebanji’s electricity regulatory achievement
The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) has praised the recent handover of electricity regulatory oversight from the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission to the Ekiti State Electricity Regulatory Bureau.
In a statement released by Yinka Oyebode, the Special Adviser (Media) to the Ekiti State governor, the NGF conveyed their commendation through a congratulatory letter signed by its Director General, Asishana Okauru.
Describing the transfer as a significant achievement in the state’s power sector, the NGF lauded Governor Oyebanji’s dedication and hard work in serving the people of Ekiti State.
According to Oyebode, Okauru emphasized Governor Oyebanji’s unwavering commitment to the state’s development, acknowledging his positive impact on the lives of its citizens.
The Oyebanji administration’s investment in the power sector was also highlighted, including the establishment of the 5-Megawatt Independent Power Project and rehabilitation efforts to enhance tourism and economic activities in the state.
