Final farewell to Sisi Quadri: Actors gather in Iwo for burial.
Actors and theatre practitioners converged in Iwo, Osun State, to bid a final farewell to their colleague, Qodri Oyebamiji, famously known as Sisi Quadri. Qodri, who passed away on Friday, was laid to rest on Saturday morning after his body arrived at his residence in Iwo.
Mourners, including locals and residents of Iwo, gathered in the Agbowo area of the town to pay their respects and catch a final glimpse of Qodri’s body.
The emotional scene unfolded around 11 am when Qodri’s body arrived in an ambulance, prompting many mourners to shed tears as they watched his body being removed.
After Islamic rites were performed by Muslim clerics, Qodri was laid to rest before 1 pm. Colleagues from the entertainment industry joined the mourners, expressing their grief as they bid farewell to their dear friend and colleague.
