Nigeria’s Hilda Baci set to break Guinness World Record

Hilda Baci is a versatile professional in the entertainment and culinary industries. She is currently pursuing the Guinness World Record for the longest individual cooking time.

On April 2nd, Ms. Hilda made an official announcement via Instagram that she intends to realize a five-year-long aspiration. She stated her intention to cook for a continuous period of four days and four nights, with the aim of surpassing the 87-hour, 45-minute record set by Chef Lata London in Rewa, India in 2019.

The cooking began on May 11, 2023 at Amore Gardens, Lekki, Lagos and was attended by a number of participants who registered from the event.

On Sunday, the individual responded to a tweet from Guinness World Records which stated “today is a good day to break a world record” with the statement “I’m on it.”

Nigerian citizens have demonstrated their endorsement by placing wagers on Ms. Hilda, who remains steadfast in her efforts, having worked for over 63 hours.
