Master Warrant Officer George, a dedicated and hardworking female officer, was discovered deceased on Sunday at the 651 Base Services Group.
Her untimely passing has left a deep void in the hearts of her colleagues and loved ones. The circumstances surrounding her death are still under investigation.
According to insider information, a member of the Air Force was discovered in a state of unresponsiveness at her living quarters located in Block T5 Flat 8, situated within the Sam Ethnan Air Force Base Ikeja, Lagos.
The unfortunate incident occurred on the 10th of June 2023, at approximately 2 pm. It was reported that the individual had taken her own life by hanging herself within the confines of her room.
According to reports, a team of three Air Provosts arrived at the scene and conducted an assessment of the situation. After careful examination, they came to the conclusion that the individual in question had passed away.
Shortly thereafter, another team of personnel arrived to transport the body to the 661 Nigerian Air Force Hospital for further evaluation and processing.
