President Tinubu meets NSA, chiefs at State House. At the State House in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu is meeting with National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu and service chiefs.

Maj. Gen. C.G Musa, Chief of Defence Staff; Maj. Gen. T. A Lagbaja, Chief of Army Staff; Rear Admiral E. A Ogalla, Chief of Naval Staff; AVM H.B. Abubakar, Chief of Air Staff; and Kayode Egbetokun, Acting Inspector-General of Police.

Tinubu’s first known in-person encounter with the security helmsmen since their appointment on June 19 began at 3:00 p.m. local time.

President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with Ms Zo Yujnovich, Shell Global Upstream Director, in the State House in Abuja.

Yujnovich, who took over as Upstream Director on July 1, has been on the Shell Executive Committee since 2021.

She arrived to the Aso Rock Villa with three other Shell executives about 11:45 a.m. and was brought into the President’s office complex for the 12:00 p.m. meeting.

Mele Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, is also sitting for the meeting, according to our correspondent.

President Tinubu’s first engagement after returning office following the Sallah holidays and his abroad trips to France on June 13 and London on June 17 is on Monday. It is part of ongoing discussions with oil and gas industry leaders since his administration ended petroleum subsidies on May 29.

The President met with Exxon Mobil executives Mr. Liam Mallon, Mr. Richard Laing, and Mrs. Adesua Dozie in the State House on June 8, according to The PUNCH.

He also met with Timi Alaibe, the former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, and Dr Dakuku Peterside, the former Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency.
