Alozie not leaving US National Women’s Soccer League side. Michelle Alozie, defender for the Super Falcons, says she has no plans to leave the Houston Dash of the National Women’s Soccer League for a stint in Europe anytime soon, according to PUNCH Sports Extra.

The 26-year-old defender was one of the club’s outstanding performers in 2023, scoring three goals in 16 appearances.

She was also an important member of Nigeria’s remarkable journey to the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, where the Falcons were ousted on penalties by England in the round of 16.

However, despite her remarkable run of form for club and country, the defender is looking forward to Houston Dash’s next challenge in the NWSL.

“I’m just really focused on the upcoming season with the Houston Dash, which I’m really looking forward to.” Other things are happening in the future; we just have to wait and see, but for now I’m just concentrating on the NWSL,” Alozie remarked during Asisat Oshoala’s all-star event in Lagos.

With 26 points from 22 games, the club finished 10th in the 2023 regular season.

Alozie has six goals in 31 appearances since joining them in 2021.
