The appeal filed by Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, who is contesting the Court of Appeal’s decision, has been scheduled for hearing by the Supreme Court for Friday, January 12. This is stated in a notice that the supreme court sent out to each party involved in the lawsuit on Wednesday. The notice states that the court ordered no more than two solicitors from each side to be present. According to sources, the appellate court upheld the tribunal’s decision to remove Governor Abba Yusuf and proclaim Dr. Nasiru Gawuna, the APC candidate, the legitimate victor.
