Omokri: Lagos LG Chair’s achievements surpass Obi’s Governance
A former presidential aide, has drawn comparisons between the leadership of former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, and the Chairman of Eti-Osa Local Government Area in Lagos State, asserting the latter’s superior administration. Omokri highlighted the accomplishments of the Lagos LG chair, stating that they have surpassed those of Peter Obi during his tenure as governor. Despite serving as governor from 2007 to 2014, Omokri challenged Obi’s supporters to name a single school initiated, completed, and commissioned by him. He emphasized the need for evidence of Obi’s achievements and debunked views suggesting Obi’s superiority over other political figures such as Rabiu Kwankwaso and Bola Tinubu in terms of infrastructure development. Despite Omokri’s recommendation of Obi as a running mate to Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 presidential election, he expressed disappointment at Obi’s failure to heed his advice. Omokri also dismissed criticisms of his commentary on Nigeria’s economic challenges, asserting his status as an employer of labor in Nigeria.
