Tragedy strikes as Nigerian student dies within 24 hours of UK arrival for Postgraduate studies.
Saheed Wahab, a Nigerian student pursuing his master’s degree in the United Kingdom, tragically passed away a day after commencing his studies at Teesside University on January 15, 2024. The cause of the death remains undisclosed. The Nigerians in the UK Community expressed condolences, stating that arrangements for his burial have been initiated. Financial support is being sought for the funeral, scheduled of the Nigerian student for January 25, 2024, at Jamia Masjid Al Madina in Middlesbrough.
